Crew: Karl Falkenham - Engineer

Karl is a CBC music recording engineer / producer… His studies include both classical and contemporary music. He has a degree from Dalhousie University and additional studies with The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto and the Berkley School of Music in Boston. Karl has performed as a bass player with various bands, live, in the studio and for radio and television. As a recording engineer and producer, he is equally at home in the studio or with live recording .His credits for record/CD projects and broadcasts are too numerous to list; here are some of the highlights.

Karl has engineered all of the Symphony Pops recordings for the CBC in Halifax and produced/ engineered numerous other CD projects such as: Laura Smith, Lennie Gallant, Joe Murphy, Guitar Souls, Big Picture and "Fire In The Kitchen"with the Chieftans. As well, he was in charge of the most recent renovations and equipment acquisitions for Studio H and the Radio Mobile. He is currently working on a project with Halifax pop group "The Heavy Blinkers".
