1999:	MacDonald defeated New Democrat Elizabeth Cusack by nearly 3,000 votes. PC Lee Lewis was third with eight per cent of the vote.
1998:	MacDonald defeated New Democrat Ed Murphy by 2,600 votes. PC Anna Steele was third.
1993:	MacDonald defeated New Democrat Peter Mancini by 2,500 votes. PC Norm Ferguson was third.
1988:	Veteran Liberal Vince MacLean was re-elected. PC Murdock Smith finished second.
