District profile: Queens includes the town of Liverpool and large rural areas in both Queens and Lunenburg counties.

The Hank Snow Country Music Centre and the wilderness beauty of the Kejimkujik Seaside Adjunct are tourist draws. There's also a vibrant local theatre group.

Fishing and forestry are still important to the local economy and there are some pulp-and-paper and manufacturing jobs.

2006:	Vicki Conrad took the seat for the NDP ending a half-century Tory tradition here. PC Kerry Morash finished second by 55 votes. There was no Liberal candidate on the ballot.
2003:	Morash took 44 per cent of the vote to defeat the NDP's Conrad by 421 votes. Liberal Win Seaton got 18 per cent of the vote to finish third.
1999:	Morash defeated John Wiles of the NDP by 1,949 votes.
1998:	PC John Leefe defeated Liberal Terry Doucette by 1,510 votes.
1993:	Leefe defeated Liberal Marilyn Large by 263 votes.
1988:	Leefe defeated Liberal David Randall by 1,871 votes.
