This is a short entry on the left, which takes up half the width of the usual entry. This formatting is set by adding the tag "leftentry". Short entries have to be made in pairs, or the formatting of the page will be ragged. Just think of feet marching merrily along. Left, right, left, right.

This is the right short entry, with the tag "rightentry". Any number of short entries can appear sequentially on a page, as long as that number is even, but there is no room in short entries for photographs. And it looks nice if each pair of stories has a comparable amount of text.
