Career Background: He works as a sales representative for Abbott Laboratories, a pharmaceuticals company. Previously, he worked for the government as an official languages investigator, and an assistant and political adviser to former labour minister Claudette Bradshaw.

Community Activities: In the 1990s, he was a delegate to the Chicoutimi Chamber of Commerce and was active on the Jonquière School Board, serving as commissioner, as chair of the parents’ committee, and chair of the commission of adult education and professional learning. In 2007, he sat on the board of the Chicoutimi Port Authority.
