Antoine Kaluzny

Education: Earned a philosophy degree in Munich.

Career Background: Over the years, he has worked in construction, sales, leasing and property management. Between 1968 and 1998, he was a professor of Greek philosophy and human rights at the Cégep of Saint-Hyacinthe, a general education college. In 1996, he edited and published a biography of famous Quebecer Josaphat Jean, and in 2006, he wrote a book on the philosophy of individual success.

Community Activities: He was briefly involved with the Canadian Coast Guard in 1964 and 1965.

Lise Zarac

Party: Liberal Party of Canada

Profession: Businesswoman

Career Background: She worked on the management team of Bell Canada until 2001, when she entered politics.

Community Activities: She is a member of Montreal's cultural development commission, the industrial safety committee and the round table on urban safety. She works with the Centre Henri-Lemieux, a cultural community centre in LaSalle and chaired the city's round table on social development. She sits on the board of administration of Feed Montreal, a program that analyzes the causes of hunger in Montreal and offers alternative solutions to food aid.
