Community Activities: A veteran of the Paralympic Games, he was a mentor with the Canadian Paralympic Committee between 2002 and 2005. From 2002 to 2003, he also served as honorary president of the world championships of the International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA). He won the medal of the National Assembly of Quebec in 1992, 1996, 2000 and 2004. For the past seven years, he lectured at various Quebec schools on behalf of Sports-Québec, a provincial federation of athletes.
