Community Activities: Was actively involved in several social and philanthropic organizations, including the Maison des jeunes de Vaudreuil-Soulanges, Club Richelieu and the Fondation du Cirque de l’espoir, which focus on helping youth in need. Was also an active member of the Quebec Student Parliament, where he served as minister of the environment. Sat on the board of directors of Collège Rosemont, a Montreal community college. Was a member of the Montreal East Island Chamber of Commerce before joining the Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce and the Rive-Nord chapter of BNI Affaires, a networking organization of businesspeople.
