Held various management and production positions with broadcasting companies including Rogers Broadcasting Inc., OMNI 1, Global Television Network, Multilingual Television (Toronto) Ltd., CFMT-TV and Rogers Cable Television, Toronto. Retired from a career in broadcasting as the senior vice-president of industry affairs for CTV Inc., 1991. Was a member of the Ontario Film Review Board and the national advisory committee to the president of the Treasury Board on employment equity in the federal public service and crown corporations. Served as adviser to three different secretaries of state.
Community Activities: Served as chair of the board of Lakeridge Health; board member of the Durham Community Foundation and Abilities Centre Durham; on Orono community improvement task force; founding member of the Great Canadian Town Band Festival in Orono.
