There is something about the north wind that appeals to Gerald. He started his career with CBC North and was based quite happily in Yellowknife for 5 years. His next move brought him to Thunder Bay and closer to his roots in Northwestern Ontario. Gerald loves the challenge of working and living in the north. He feels there is a connection that people have with their radio here that just doesn't happen in the south.

Gerald has a canoe, a kayak, three tents, and a black lab that keep him company in the summer. Skiing and organizing folk music concerts keep him busy during the winter.
