domain name

Dialer - A computer program that uses a modem to connect to a network over a telephone line. People using a dial-up internet connection use a dialer usually provided by their ISP. Other dialers are malicious software that connect to a network without the user realizing it. Malicious dialers often come as Trojan horses and connect to premium rate telephone numbers, costing the user hundreds of dollars. People with broadband internet access are usually not affected by malicious dialers because their computers don't use a dial-up connection.
